After many weeks - months, actually, of procasticating, I finally sent the laptop to Wisma for servicing. Thankfully, it really was a key stuck problem. The downside is, I'm only getting it back next Saturday latest. Oh well. I hope they finish fast. :)
Well I didn't shut down my com before bringing it there so the first thing they'll see when they on it is Michael Scofield haha. Well, someone from Prison Break. Yeh, I tried to mug it this morning before leaving home. -.- I don't even know what episode I'm at now. 8? Haha oh man, of the 1st season. And season 3 is coming out in August.
Well okay, so I went down to Orchard MRT with my laptop in my non waterproof bag -.- Oh, the band was having a performance at Wheelock for Tapestry, so I went by to watch. It was really decent, and I kinda recognised the beat from like, 30m away. Well. Haha. That's what happens when you get stuck in a very small room with a band whose drummer just has to play very loudly. Haha, well, I'm not complaining. I really am not. -______- I mean well, I don't really mind it la. I mean if I were practising for a performance or something I wouldn't like it if someone else were practising in the room and being unhappy about me practising.
The thing is I suspect that they think I was the one intruding because erm. Well they signed the wrong sheet on the logbook. Eh.. Haha. Well whatever. Doesn't really matter.
Anyway I think their efforts did pay off somehow, but the rain wasn't being friendly. And smart move Jo, wearing shorts to town. Haha, not only was it a hassle to hide from my mom (I was wearing almost the same thing I wore to her office the last time -.-), it was cold! Because the only shelter I could go to when it started raining was inside Wheelock and it's really cold.
Well. Recently, things have been a liiiittle confusing. I'd rather this be a practical joke. That I continue living in my secluded world, in denial or whatever, just away. I have no intention to be on good terms with somebody who belongs in a world that has no place for me. I have no intention to deal with the consequences when said somebody gets influenced to believe whatever. I honestly could care less, but if that's going to be the case (ending on bad terms), why bother being on good terms at all? It'll just increase the damage. -.-
But for mysterious but obvious reasons, friendship doesn't work that way. Try as you might to avoid a friend, you'll probably be even more conscious of him/her. And your efforts kind of die off. Rinse and repeat. And you wonder how long this can last before you get sick of the cycle.
Guess what we did for CCA? Like, I totally don't know what its called but I guess you can still refer to it as eskimo bow? Except it's not using the other kayak but.. Well. first we started off with the wall. Then we moved on to using the PFD. Like yeh, you totally capsize, and use a PFD to hip flip. Thanks to.. the Yr 3 boy, Jo managed to do it 3 times consecutively and passed the test. Lol. It's SUPER FUN I swear. I guessed. I really liked training yesterday. And the boy and I succeeded. Well there were only 4 of us yesterday.
Damn, next training will be in school cos the pool is booked. Grace kindly informed the really swakoo Jo of this amazing place in NUS near our training location where there's Old Chang Kee, Subway and New Zealand Natural. Oooohhh. :) Haha. Yeh and supposedly after that we're going to CONTINUE DOING RECOVERY! HAHA YAY. Chad says its still PFD. Thankfully. And then it's going to be paddle, then ball, then nothing! Haha. Yeh well, in the long run I will be able to.
And erm... I don't know if I blogged this already. I probably did but I went to get MLB's autograph at J8 last sunday! Nic ahhhhhhhhhhhh. I didn't really like Get Alive before I heard it live. I really like it. I like the whole album! Go MLB.
Oh, the simple joys in life. I had 2 and a half lunches on my own today and I was pretty full already (considering normal people eat only 1 lunch -.-) but no my friend was in the area and we went to eat again. Well. Like daddy said, meesua is best eaten standing, in the rain. But of course we were sitting, and indoors. But the thing that makes the difference is the company, I guess.
Yeh, it was nice sitting there, eating, talking randomly and watching people go by. If only.
I have this friend who's known this girl all his life probably. And even though at one point of time he wasn't in Singapore, when he came back they were still in the same church and will continue to be for a long time. And my friend likes this girl. And church is a good environment. Jo honestly hopes that they will be happy, because such good conditions are hard to come by. And Jo wonders, if life can really be that simple.
I have another friend. I never thought much about it, since it's a thing of the past, but my friend used to have a boyfriend at Sec 3, probably before that too. At that time, she seemed like she had more of a life. Although I didn't know her then. I'm not saying anything about anybody's life now, it's just that when I imagine this friend of mine to be happily living her attatched life then, I can't help but feel happy too. Why, though, are things so different now.
And Zhao Xuan gave me the shirt I wanted, it's moreeeee precious than Sidwyn's lanyard. Though SIDWYN DEAR THANK YOU FOR THE ERASER. I didn't need it in the end but I used it still. And I met Sam to return her Waddles (but the rest of the stuff is still with me) before she flies off to Cambridge and yeh I met some HC people and bought a lot of stuff from their school... -.- But yeh I'm happy. I spent a lot this week..

I LOVE YOU GUYS.
Go _____. Persevere. You've done it once and you can do it again.
Something like that. It's something I saw on a friend's blog a long time ago. It's not about studies, so I can kind of guess what it was about. I just recalled it out of the blue today during church. Man.. dondake?!
Anyway. That was just part of my letter to God, asking for strength and all that. Thanks for the wonderful prayer session, Rachel and Joanne twinny.
Anthony tore paper for us today. In some ways, that was a touching gesture, ne? Haha. Really, that's very nice of you! And well, there was the warm fuzzy session. It wasn't as serious as it should be, but I'm really thankful for all the affirmation I received from all of you! Reaaaaaally. Hontou ni hontou ni. I'm kinda rushing to go back to hostel now so I don't think I can type out what everyone said, especially since I don't know who said what exactly. But thank you all so much.
HERE'S MY LETTER FROM MY DEAR FORMATORS.
(My 1 dear formator and the other 1 who's been cheating our/my feelings for 6 months.)
Dear Joanne Tan,
Since the beginning of the formation, you've been one of the most expressive and feeling of the group. Your sharings at the camps merely reinforced that. You are always genuine and sincere in sharing your experiences and feelings.
After the camps, we have noticed that you are actualy extremely enthusiastic despite your aloof disposition. You're also observant, committed, trusting and intelligent. Joanne, you have one likable personality that shines through even if you don't want it to. This makes your presence very contagious, your ideas and opinions too. You have a leadership potential that remains as yet, untapped.
Keep contributing your talents to the group and let your personality exude. Try to organise your thoughts more and be confident of yourself! God has given you so many talents, such as music, so keep developing them and using them, not only with the youths but your friends and family too.
Most importantly, keep praying for God's grace in all that you do, and maintain this prayerful relationship with him.
Lastly, we appreciate all your effort and your commitment to the camps and the programme thus far. Keep that enthusiasm up and feel free to call anyone of us should you need anything!
God Bless
[heart], Your Formators.
FABIAN AND BRYAN
Can you believe nobody told be Bryan was our formator. -.- Not that it matters, but whaaaaaaaat the hell? Haha. Oh man, I feel kinda sorry for him. Apparently he didn't go for the Footprints retreat when he was younger. Haha well, that's really sad. Cos I'll go no matter what and maaaaaaan do I hope Jane goes. I really don't want her to quit JC.
I don't know whether or not I should say they really know me well, or if I'm still living a lie. Honestly, I can't accept the compliments, even if Anthony said the formators are the best judge of character. And also, that if the same message appears more than once on the affirmation sheet then it's probably true. I really don't know. Honestly it doesn't really matter what others think, right? Supposedly not. But if it's my church friends, then it's a community I will be journeying with forever (hopefully) so I really want to be who I am.
Deaaaaaar Lord,
It's me again! :D Please let me be more open and more honest to myself and others.
Please let me be the person you want me to be. I want to touch others, so send your Holy Spirit down on me. :( Itsumo arigatou ne.
Love, Jo.

Because of the way the church is and because I grew up in Changi not Bishan, I didn't belong to this church all my life. But even if I did I doubt I would have found a 青梅竹马 like my friend did. I'm really, honestly, truly happy to know that. Honestly. I hope that like his parents, he'll get married to that girl he met in his church. If it's him, the family will be a happy one, right? I'm looking forward to your wedding already, haha. And I'm amazed how the christian churches function. Like, even if they stay far away, they will still travel half of Singapore to get to church. Like Elaine and my friend. That's really nice, isn't it? :)

Another week.. Prison Break!
I went to church today, after all. I was half an hour late for mass. I think. Well, it's not that bad since there was the knighting of the Knights of the Altar (aww) and all the blessings and all. Congrats to uhm, Terence, Melvyn, Gerald, Iggy, Benjamin, Timothy and some Noel guy? I THINK that Benjamin guy is the one who cheated my feelings in Sec 1. Yeh, UNTIL NOW. I'm not sure if he's Benjamin or Noel. But anyway, he claimed his name was Bernard in Sec 1. I never actually believed him, but until now that's the only name I have for him. I've never even spoken to him once since then.Anyway, at my baking class at the CC, everyone is really pro huh. Haha. It's really amazing. And honestly, I'm thankful for oversized shoes. Harlis stepped on my shoe twice today. Thank goodness they're oversized. -.- Oh, Megatron. -_____________- And Xinyi is really pro, I'm serious. AAAHH. And I really wasn't of any help to YQ either. Please save meee. I hate starting from scratch.
Yup so I went to church after that. And met Julia and Joel and Jamie. (Ehhh J!!!) Haha. I'm sorry but Brian was being pushy today. Like what's with the mugger thing?! Like please. Once again, don't even SAY that word to me when you're the one doing constant revision while I fail everything I like to fail. Just because I'm not in poly and don't get 'an average of 5 months holiday every year' doesn't mean I do nothing but study, period.
I must say I didn't fulfil my original purpose of going to church today, but in all honesty that was just dumb. Well.. I don't know. I really wanted to find out.
I don't think I could see Iggy in the same light again, anyway. I know it's not supposed to be like that but yeh. It's none of my business and I believe it's all in God's greater plan but I still wish it didn't have to be him. And Rachel and Reggie and all the nice people in the world.
Anyway I started watching Prison Break, because the story is really cool. Michael is really clever. Well but Tudou / China websites in general hate me. Connection problems. Can't watch online. I'm only at Season 1 Ep 3!! Ugh. I hope my friend has it on com so I can watch.
SO HAPPY. Once again, a week has passed. A pretty good week. I'm going to reflect on my week and try to make it a habit before every Sunday. Sundaaaaaay. JC. Church. Mass. Friends. Love.
Weekdays. School. Classes. Hostel. Shopping. Friends. Love.
Saturdays. Baking. Food. New friends. Love.

PTM!
I'm not at the stage where I can say I love everybody yet, but it's always nice and fun.Hehe. Thank you.
Today, Jo displayed a very (physically) weak and pathetic side. If there's one thing I hate, it's got to be trying but not being able to do something. Running is something I've never tried or saw the need to put effort into. But today I honestly tried, and my legs felt like lead. And the 2nd round, I was just walking as a simple form of rehab, but it was so exhausting. It's hard, for someone who's never been injured before.
Yep, I should be careful how I walk so I don't sustain such injuries again.
I don't want to be frustrated because teachers don't buy the true story. I don't want to be doubted for doing whats right either. It just makes me wonder, WHY BOTHER! :)
I can attend tomorrow's evening mass! Thank you Harlis. :)
Mou.. It's not really about that anymore. I guess I just want to.
In such trying times, I TURN TO YOUUUUUUU.
And look forward to church on Sunday. Then I can show off my CAP. I bet Pearly gets a CAP of 4plusplusplus though. Haha. Well..
PTM went really smoothly. For the first time. Less than 5 minutes? Hurhur. Yay. I WILL MISS MISS TEO. :( And we're currently MENTORLESS. Yay for that lady not being our new mentor.

Sigh.
あの人、好きだったんだ。実はね、別に好きだけど、あの人の事をもっとよく知りたいだ。
でもね、もう一度会えた時、話しなかった。悔しいけど、何も言えない。
どうしお??なんか、不安だけど。
REALLY REALLY REALLY.
I'm so confuzzled. At that time.. I really hoped. Even though it was really stupid. But I felt that if it was that time, it was possible.
But then, I guess I was wrong huh. Maybe the whole change of opinions was crap too.
Anyway I've been talking to some people an unusual lot these days. It feels kinda funny cos we've never spoken in 2 years. Haha. Properly anyway. Well. Like I said, it's not a bad thing. Entertainment, Jo.

Happy week!
And I will run to youTo your words of truth
Not by might, not by power
But by the spirit of God
Yes I will run the race
Till I see your face
Oh let me live by
The glory of your grace
Thank You for a wonderful week. I can't remember what happened exactly, but let me attempt to summarise.
On Sunday we had Jr Cats meeting and we had KFC. I haven't seen everyone together in so long. And the formators. And then the bunch of us caught Transformers, a really great movie. And I had Ben & Jerry's for the first in a long long time.
On Monday, I caught Hot Fuzz with a friend: It was my first NC-16 movie, haha. Well, you can say he's quite a new friend although I've known him for 3 years. So that's a good thing, huh?
Then I moved back to hostel without getting thrown out of my room, and met my new roommate Mae Hwee, who had a fleeting presence on the cheer team, so we're not completely strangers. Yup and she's awesomely smart, sleeps late and has a lot of snacks.
On Tuesday, lessons started. I cannot find one good thing about combining the D classes. Just that I have to be a third party, sit in a corner of the (my own) classroom in the back, and basically not be able to see the board or screen properly. But we went to catch Elaine's swimming comp and she did well and Sam came in second for her heats. And I had a decent violin lesson.
On Wednesday, we went through our Gr 8 theory paper. To be truthful, that was higher than my expected grade of low 70s, but close enough. The only difference is that I expected everyone else to get higher than me, like 90plus. I was honestly stoned and lost and dejected after I did the theory paper because EVERYONE PUT BRAHMS.
But I love good old Mr Tan for setting predictable questions. Like the composer/country one. The rest were tyco. I guess. With some help from his usual conspicuous hints. Yep so I topped the paper, I guess. It's honestly a first. I've never so much as topped a test or quiz since I entered this school or something. Not that I know of.
On Thursday er. More lessons, but right in the morning Mr Tham came in and said Physiology wasn't starting till next week so I got a 2 hour free period for no reason. And we had our KI lesson - er which sucked cos I know I'll do very badly for this module hurhur. And Stats - whatever. Basically today was a whole day of being a third party. And in the morning there was such a conversation:
Some teacher (Sukandar or something): All student leaders line up according to your leadership positions. Like council, PSL, class committee, etc.
Jo: Eh. Lol, then those with multiple positions go to their highest post ah.
Jacque: Well, just know you aren't in any of them.
LIKE OKAY WHATEVER. Who said anything about wanting to be a part of the oh-so-prestigious NUS High Leadership Federation or something.
On Friday we got back our papers. Luckily, the first two papers were Chem and English. The papers I knew I did substantially better for as compared to Math and Bio. I actually scored an A for a science exam for the first time in my what, life?! Even in P3 my science was either a low Band 1 or Band 2. And my VERY FIRST NUS HIGH A went to Chemistry. I might not even have ever scored an A- for anything before. Not English. If you count A-, then it's Music - IN THE SAME SEMESTER!!! Not even Chinese, I think. Have to check. Haha. But yeh. I mugged about three days for it. Maybe 2. So I probably deserve it. :D *pats self on shoulder*
And I scraped a Bplus for English as usual. Damn though, I was expecting an A- lol. But I should have figured that it's possible to study for English, like read the handouts. Cos I was completely stoned for essay. Although I knew that quote would come out. Dumb Jo. At least I passed Bio! And I didn't fail math THAT badly. If you think about it I got 30%. I think I got what, 35 for Calculus I? And I MIGHT have studied for that paper. And although I slept late for that paper, I still slept. Before Calculus II paper I completely DIDNT SLEEP AT ALL! Stupid, mugging Bio for a 51/100. Lol.
AND TODAY WELL. Haha. 070707. :D I spent 070707 07:07:07am sleeping, I think. And I spent 070707 07:07:07pm eating. So yup.
Okay so much for summary. This week was so much better than last week, where I spent the whole week sick and what, was it just exams?! Haha it feels like so long ago. Yup. I spent the entire week looking forward to church and nothing else. Like a zombie. I still am looking forward to church tomorrow, but I felt like my life was reasonably meaningful this week. And hopefully next week will be better.
Yay buaiz.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIN. Again, because I just read Pi's post. I luuuuuuuurve the Jin/Pi/U friendship. Yay.
Let me quote Bakanishi Jin on CTKT on his birthday.
Jin: I'm on a diet.
Maru: So you don't eat rice?
Jin: No.
Kame: So you only eat vege, right?
Jin: No, I only eat meat.
Kame: So.. you don't drink beer?
Jin: I drink beer.
Kame: Then what's the point????
DON'T YOU LOVE JIN!
RESOLUTION.
To pull up my damned CAP. On the way, Jo, on the way. Please don't get complacent just because you actually might pass your CAP this sem.
To manage my time. Now that violin and piano are on the same day, you probably have to practise doubly as much.
And thankfully Tuesday nights are before Wednesday mornings. :)
COOKIES THIS WEEK GO TO BEN FOR THE CLASSIC "Can we negotiate?"
I had no idea you had it in you, Ben. :D Don't worry, I'm sure you can do well for your Grade 4. or 5. I'll work hard to get a Grade 8 too.

YAY FOR CAP.
I'm looking forward to a splendid 8th of August performance, ne! That's the release date of NewS' new single. 8/8! Does that mean 8-nin NewS? Like 6/6 release of Yorokobi no Uta meant 6-nin KAT-TUN. :(:(On the other hand, I think I've grown out of being reliant on such activities to keep me happy. Thankfully, I won't have to go through the same crazy training hours and end up failing both piano and violin like I almost did for violin last year huh.
This was meant to be a happy post but no that scandalous couple just ruined my freaking happy day of As and Bpluses. (Well, one A and one Bplus.) AND lots of shopping wheeeee. Lol. I actually went up to my mom's office to get money. Wheee convenience. Haha. The lift skips like the 1st to 18th floor so by the time you reach the 23rd floor you' definitely have the ear thingy. Lol, and then I met her godmom who still looks like she's around thirty. She looks MS SIM'S age. She's 53 by the way. Ms Sim is freaking cool she does NOT look 30plus at all.
I bought the black and orange nike bottle. I've never even seen it before. But I can't find the pink anywhere. Yep and lotsa shirts for church because Gareth complains that I always wear the same things to church. Well its true, and coincidentally its the shirt my mom' godma bought me haha. 18!
Anyway. Yep.
Tomorrow is finally here huh.
My calculated CAP is 2.8! Confirmed above 2.5. It's all because of math. If only I could get a 2.0 for math but OH WELL.
I think if all goes well I have
2 Bpluses
1 B
2 B-s
1 D or Dplus
If I'm lucky I might get 1 A- and 1 Bplus instead huh lol. Not that it would make a diff cos MATH IS FREAKING 4 MCs.
And I ain't a math mugger. Ugh. And I missed the chem B by ONE MARK can you believe it. I've never been uh, so close. English is pretty confirmed Bplus. Bio is hopefully B-. Grade6theory is probably a B because MR TAN IS AN EVIL GIT. :( A B- for CA?! Yep.
Lol.
Hahah I can burp well now. With water or something. Not completely spontaneous, but I swear they're GOOD LOUD DISGUSTING burps.
BURRRRRRRRP.

Hohohohoho
OMG.Hi teachers.
Well naturally, considering the whole fiasco about defaming people on blogs in year 3, Jo definitely knows that people read blogs. But I don't read blogs! And I didn't even use to blog until. Well, lately. So. AIYOH.
Hurhur.
Waaaaaaaaaaaayle (well), hello. Ms Teo do you read this? You look like the type who wouldn't though. Haha. Well I certainly hope I did better for chem SA than my CA then. Because like, I guess, it's the least I can do before you leave I thiiiiiiink? Well. I don't know la. I did try though. A bit. I'm quite sure I didn't do very well, since I left a substantial amount of blanks. Maybe. I hope you were the least bit pleased? Hur.
Aaaand. I don't know. It's kinda weird? For the first time ever, there's no Chinese paper to get back. We used to always compare, among the cheer people. And me being the complete dumbass I am, I never got higher than anybody for the math and science papers, and the only papers I ever did get highest for were like, English and Chinese. How absolutely pathetic. But OH WELL. I really do miss actually using my damned brain to think in Chinese. Although the way Gareth puts it, that's cheena, but I don't know. None of my church friends speak Chinese.
It's not the comparing I miss, definitely. It's like, I just miss the subject/language in general.
As for Bio and Math - screw yeh to the ends of teh earth.
JO CAN'T STUDY OKAY. So just leave me alone until I move away to wherever next year to.. 'study'. Well.
OKAYYYY and Sidwyn Koh better find his lanyard or something. :( Unless he really wants it la. Cos Jo wants it a lot tooooooo. ): I don't want to dirrrrty the Billabong one that Eunice's sister gave anymore. HURHUR.
And haha, since Dr Wong reads this, I might as well just pretend I practise my violin 5 hours a day or something. :( Jadennn.
Which reminds me, I FINALLY FEEL LIKE PLAYING GRANADO ESPADA AGAIN.
Yep. Defeat the boss and level!!!!! Jen still keeps dying. But it's because of BLEHDY hostel internet. I swear, what on earth are my parents paying for? Little (not too nice) food, screwy elevators, no air con and the works. The internet, damn it.
Maa. I have some SAT class later.. now actually. In ten minutes. Sucks. Like it'll change anything. Bye.

41.87, or something like that.
So what made me under the impression that my 100m freestyle was ever 80seconds plus again? Must be deluded. Well, my 100 fly was probably never that fast either. My memory is failing me, so is my old and battered karada. Dare ka tasukete kudasai??
Sammo came in second! Haha she's got to be the single person I bully most huh. Eh, she needed no float! She was actually pretty fast, I felt. Well there was some other C div girl who came in 30 seconds odd, so it's just.. wrong haha. But considering Sam hasn't been training? Haha it's great!
I'd love to watch the 100 back. Or better yet, the entire finals. Well, Sam's definitely in the finals, right? And Joie might probably find her way in as well. Oh man, I seriously love the kid. ):
I stole something else as well; WADDLES.
It's pretty adorable. HURHUR. Saaaaaam. ):
I'm pretty glad Elaine got around back to swimming training, I guess. It's cool. Which makes me wonder what I want. I'm just an old has been. I probably couldn't even crumple a paper ball now.
I guess I'll be starting driving theory lessons soon? Maybe. Or December. And although like Elaine says, it's very 'everybody-wants-to', I think it'll be interesting to do that. Unless you have classes to well, instruct me how to steer and operate a submarine?
Same class, new class. WELL yoroshiku onegai shimasu huh.
I'm just really exhausted lately.
I just got freaking lagged out OUTSIDE of the damned dungeons and eaten by mobs.
Screw the hu lian wang.
Well. So I say, IMPORTANT DAYS.

Saturdays and Sundays
I think I have given up on GE. Lol, I don't feel the drive to level anymore, but I'll give it one last shot tomorrow anyway. Win the Lvl 14 thing. Do more quests. Hit a decent level. And I won't play for the rest of the week in hostel. It's ironic that the weekend technically hasn't ended yet, and I'm already looking forward to the next weekend. Partly because Saturday's really important. And JC, although like.. I DON'T KNOW? I don't really mind Anthony calling me Blur, but Bryan keeps.. Lol. Anyway they're nice. Everyone. And I finally witnessed Daniel's hairband eating skills. Well, it makes me kinda glad I use such a thick hairband.
And I told Brian Lim I was going for 1130 mass today.. Sorry? Haha I seriously didn't know we were attending 945. Anyway the JCs and formators had lunch together at KFC Thomson. So nostalgic, reminds me of all the so called studying sessions we had. At least I never did. =\
It's the first time in ages I've seen all the formators in one place, though. Anthony, Paul, Daniel, Fabian, Dionne, Cheryl, Bryan, Pearly. And almost everyone was here, except Mark, Jane and Grace Yee? Then Greg and Rach went to Sentosa and Ben went to Velocity for CIP (he's not joining track nats for the rest of JC life because of his stupid injury?) and Ben(edict) and Debbie (omg I can't believe they tried to hint to Cheryl that Debbie and Benedict.. haha. I thought Cheryl might hit the roof.) went for tuition and then most of the rest of us went to catch Transformers? Haha. 2nd row seats, goodness. Not too bad for last minute ticket buying and so many people.
It's like the coolest movie I've seen recently, but the HP trailer does look promising. Although they clearly omitted the James/Sirius gayness. I loved that most about OotP. I love the good guys so much. :( And Michaela is so cool. And the Brit girl? Haha. Bumblebeeeeeee.
"Now it's just you and me, Megatron." ~ Optimus Prime
"No? It's only me." ~ Megatron
AAAH! They're so dorky. Even the bad guys.
"Give me the cube and I'll let you live.. as my pet." ~ Megatron
Hahah, well okay it was fun in general, there was a bit of shopping while waiting for the movie to start. Well, we were out with Lynn after all. She's really amazing, I guess. Well I guess that would be what I call shopping. It's not even a shopping spree thing. Haha. Well, it's different if you have your own bank card after all.
In prep for the weekend I'm going to reaaaally discipline myself this week. Regular sleeping hours so I don't look stoned and sick like I normally do. Ouen yoroshiku. (v)
Eh, new emoji! \(^,^)/ Stupid slashes. haha.
I don't know if I've said this already? I'm so looking forward to the end of the year. I guess everyone is, but this is going to be special. Here's what could possibly and probably be happening.
#1 Chamber concert in er, school auditorium in conjunction with Arts Fest maybe?
#2 Orchestra concert at Yong Siew Toh recital hall
#3 JC retreat to wherever
#4 Jo's 2nd time (omg) going to Australia (I WANT TO SNOWBOARD.. if it's the right season? Haha I really don't know) ON BUDGET?! Cos my Mom is impressed with 30$ tickets with 200$ tax. Yeh, before the GST hike.
I need to get my dates right so nothing clashes. And Vienna trip next year? Mrs Phang said we should perform, so I think there's a high chance we'll be lugging our instruments along. Lol at the cello and double bass. And wtf at Ken Wei and his voice. Haha. I don't want my Jiolin chucked up above the seats. My things always fall (on poor innocent passersby). Okay. Wait. I just typed Jiolin. GOODNESS what am I thinking. I really miss Jiolin but it's mouldy? Somebody tell me what to do please. Or should I bring Jiolin instead of Jaden..
And I realised March/April is indeed a much better time to go. If it's too cold you can't do much. And Jaden might just explode. And Spring is TEH pretteh.
And on the 14th, because its the Altar Servers 25th anniversary. I'll go for 530pm mass. Well it's not exactly because its their anniversary or anything (like it would concern me) but well. I haven't seen Aaron in EONS. And Gareth says Gabriel is a server. Are you kidding me. And there's Paul. And Shaun? AND DARYL? MY SEC ONE DARYL! I think he's a server too! And the random kiddos. And Ignatius Koh and Aaron Chua! Haha, honestly I don't know them very well. WELL OKAY I ADMIT. There's free dinner after mass.
The 14th is Karen's 17th birthday, too. KAREN! Wherever you are, you are missed!
Well anyway, I'll go to clarify certain things. Mou mayowanai, sonna koto itta kara.
This Saturday is my last shot, ne? My one chance to change things to how I want them to be, not how they should be. Zettai akiramenai. Haha as wistful as it sounds, it hasn't got anything to do with studies as usual. But I'll ask myself the same question, how commited can I be?
And to you, because I have a feeling you'll know this is to you:
I don't know if I can do this alone and until now I'm still doubting myself. I don't know what's going on now but I'll find out all these answers on the day itself, yeah? But one thing I know, it's going to be very tough. Although chances are slim I'll still continue hoping that some miracle will happen and that you will be there.
I admit that at one point I considered that option because you would be there, but now, kanarazu, definitely, surely, it's something I truly want. No matter what I hope you'll agree, because it means a lot to me to have your support.
And also because this is really hard to come to terms with: I honestly haven't thought of the future. What will happen when everything comes apart, if I even follow through. Thinking of it this way, I think I understand how you felt then. But because it's something I want, please please please hahaha wish me the best! :) Jo is scared.
Because you're my ichiban shinyuu, you'll definitely know what I'm talking about right? Haha. That's what I've been hoping.
About the RJ boy who died, my condolences to his family but I'm sure he lived his life the best he could have. Honestly, when my parents told me the news in the car I was shellshocked. I almost screamed, cried, yelped, whatever. It could've been Benjamin. It could've been someone I knew and cared for and it would be the 2nd death of a friend in my life. Someone who was so near yet so far because I hadn't taken the extra step to change things.
Well apparently he was Benjamin's running partner and was a Catholic too. I'm sure he was a good Catholic. And a dear son and friend. I'm sure Ben took the extra time to pray for him today, too. So I'm really thankful for their friendship (weird huh, it's none of my business again) and I hope it'll be something Ben treasures for the rest of his life.
Because of this little experience of mine, I think I'll really try to do my best to keep Ben in JC. What I can, anyway. I'm so glad it wasn't you. And although I don't understand much, I think it's good that you don't take part in nationals then. 'Smaller competitions' don't sound too bad either. You wouldn't want to get old injuries acting up when you're old, right. :)
In conclusion, there are so many wonderful and important people in my life. I think I've matured quite a bit in the time I've taken to look back on my own life. If I could redo the 'important things' list in CC1 camp, I'm sure it would be less superficial. And the 'classify your friends' thing in Charles Png's strategic thinking class.
Well, in brief. My school friends, in general. As much as school is a bore, you guys do brighten up school life. Daniel, because he just came online. =\ I don't talk to him much but since forever his random antics and manner of speech have cracked me up. And RB0801/02, for being a good source of random snacks and entertainment. My mentor group, for having journeyed with me while I was still unsure of myself. My old friends, for well being really good friends while we were really good friends - it kinda meant (means?) a lot to me in a warped way. Alex, Gabriel and Jacque because they were more than just classmates. Music kakis, though we're not exceptionally close or anything but I'm glad everyone gets along and share the passion. Jasmine, Benjamin. And the cheer people too, how could I forget. Altron, Theo and Kegan because they're still in my class. Thanks for everything in the past.
My church buddies. I really don't know about the future, and we might not be at the stage to make vows like Fabian and Melissa's bunch to stay together forever, but I think journeying with this bunch of people is the best. Joanne Teo, my very very best.. twin. Well, one of them. Haha. I don't know, it's been more than 4 years for some of them and for the rest, we've gone through enough as well. It's so hard to put anything into words. Thank you, thank you and than you. Karina, my angel. Raymond, my mortal. Jamie and Rachel who were always there, people I felt I could talk to. Julia and Lynn, who really know when to be serious but at other times always lift the atmosphere. Everyone, huh..
And there's this special group of people I want to keep special throughout the ages called.. well. Called Jo's lifesavers. Haha. Kidding. Something like that though. I won't even try to emphasise on how many times Eunice has literally saved my life. Though lately everyone seems to be doing that cos I'm too tired to look out for cars. These are people I want to remember always, everything about. I'll remember the time when out of the blue Maria called, crying about something. I'll remember how I grew up because of Maria, because she listened to me open up about things I never wanted to say. I'll remember how she's someone I can count on always.
And Sam, for being a great support in Sec 2. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you in Sec 1 yeah? Although it's probably nothing important anymore, I'm sorry.
I LOVE YOU GUYS.
Aah, miraculously Daniel started talking to me. I shall psycho him into watching movies then. Bye! This is an edit post btw, it wasn't so long before, BUT I HAD TO SHARE ABOUT BENJAMIN. I love the guy. :(
